The city’s international airport, Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, provides excellent facilities and a wide variety of services. Its convenient location – just 4 km from the city centre – means transport to most destinations takes surprisingly little time.
CONNECTIONS
Information on international and domestic airlines flying to and from Tallinn can be found here. Please keep in mind that pandemic has changed the flight schedules quite a bit but we hope that the closer the spring the more flights are coming back.
COVID-19 restrictions and requirements
You can rely on the information that is published on the Tallinn Airport website, under the FAQ about travel to Estonia. The information is constantly updated.
Bus no. 2 makes the trip from the airport to the city centre and port approximately every 20 minutes and operates from 6:30 am until midnight. The bus departs from the airport’s lowest level, down the escalator from the arrivals hall. The most central stop is Laikmaa stop on Laikmaa Street, between the Tallink City Hotel and the Viru Centre shopping mall, attached to the Sokos Hotel Viru. If you are going to the city centre, this is the stop where to get off. You can continue the journey to the port, the bus also stops at the Terminal A, from which it is 7 minutes’ walk straight along Sadama Street to reach the Creative Hub. Hotels Euroopa and Tallink are right there in few minutes walking distance.
Tram no. 4 leaves from the same place as the bus at the airport – the lowest level. It takes you to the city centre when you get off at the stop Hobujaama (on the same street as the Laikmaa bus stop). In order to reach the Creative Hub from Hobujaama, you could walk to the Creative Hub which is 850 meters or 11 minutes’ walk or alternatively, you could take trams no. 1 or 2 from the same Hobujaama stop to the stop Linnahall. The Creative Hub is across the street from that tram stop and hotels in 4-5 minute walking distance.
