Submitting your work and research actively contribute to the success of the Congress. The organisers encourage students and scientists, along the line with the Congress theme and topics, to share their latest data with their peers. There will be an online submission process for short abstracts (up to 300 words) at first. Later all authors of accepted abstracts are invited to submit an extended abstract that will be published in the Congress abstract book and on the website of the International Peatland Society.
Title: maximum 20 words
Abstract body: maximum 300 words including introduction of topic, description of methods, main results and conclusions in plain writing. Figures and tables cannot be included in the short abstract.

All abstracts will be reviewed and evaluated by the members of the Congress Scientific Committee. Primary selection criteria are:
Notification of acceptance is scheduled for 2 March 2020 and will be sent to the presenting author via email (to the address indicated in submission form).
Following the acceptance of the short abstract, the author(s) will be invited to submit extended abstracts (up to five pages of A4 format). Figures and tables are allowed in extended abstracts. References are a “must be”. Template and detailed instructions will be published by the 6 January 2020.
Deadline for the submission of extended abstracts is 15 March 2020.
